Refund & Returns Policy
Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
Warranty
All items carry a 12-month limited warranty (factory faults only).
Certain products carry an extended warranty offered by the manufacturer. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to register the product with the respective manufacturer. ICONS will not take accountability for situations where certain products are not eligible for extended warranty in South Africa.
Your warranty may be void if the product has been opened or stripped down by a non-authorised technician.
The following is not covered by the limited 12-month warranty:
- Water damage
- Lightning or surge damage
- Speakers or Preamps that have blown due to signal clipping or been overdriven
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Contact support and provide your original receipt or order number for reference.
Refunds
The provision of goods and services by ICONS is subject to availability.
In cases of unavailability, ICONS will offer either an alternative product, and upgrade where possible, or a refund to the client in full within 30 days.
Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 20% administration fee.
Additional non-returnable items (unless received damaged or faulty):
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Guitar strings that have been used
- In-Ear Headphones that have been used
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Any hardware that comes with supporting software which has been activated (sound cards, mixers, MIDI controllers, etc.)
- Software, video game, or vinyl record that has been opened.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery
