The A Custom line has been the choice of renowned rock, metal, and fusion drummers since its introduction in 1991.

A Custom cymbals are recognized by their brilliant finish and their “not too dark” and “not too bright sound”. They are manufactured using a modern rotary-hammering technique for lighter weight, and they feature a fine pattern of narrow grooves that imparts just enough stiffness. These cymbals produce a sophisticated A Zildjian sound, but with a contemporary feel, making them sought-after in the recording studio.
