Accompanying the body is a maple neck, topped with a 24-medium fret rosewood fingerboard and white dot inlays.

On the hardware front, the Yamaha TRBX 204 GRM is equipped with split-p & j-style single coil pickups that provide a clear and broad tone, dripping with depth and definition. These are connected to a 2-way EQ for creating more aggressive tones. The look is finished by a vintage style bridge and die-cast tuners
