First-rate drivers and revolutionary EBM waveguide
Two Class-AB amplifiers deliver 45W to the 5.25″ woven composite woofer and 35W to the 1″ silk dome tweeter, which offers a snappy, accurate transient response. The monitor offers a frequency response from 20 kHz down to 48 Hz for a full-range sound with plenty of volume (102 dB SPL). The rear panel provides acoustic tuning controls including a three-position Acoustic Space switch that helps compensate for the boundary bass boost that can occur when a monitor is placed in a corner or near a wall. High and Mid controls help to further mitigate room anomalies, while a low cutoff filter makes it easy to integrate a subwoofer into your monitor setup.
Tailoring the PreSonus Eris Studio 5 to your room is a piece of cake by virtue of its plentiful acoustic tuning controls. Mid-frequency and high-frequency trim controls make compensating for your room’s deficiencies easy.
